Monthly Meetings

We meet on the 3rd Monday of every month. We meet in various ways including in-person, Zoom and a hybrid of in-person and Zoom.

Visitor admission is $5, except for special guest presentations, when it is $10.

We have a Members show and tell at every meeting.  ‘Show’ means sharing of fibre related accomplishments. ‘Tell’ is the sharing of anything that may be of interest to members (shows, workshops, talks).

2025 Program Lineup (Subject to change) 

• Monday,October 20 – Trunk show with Susan Jolliffe, plus a talk on creative procrastination (getting unstuck).
• Monday, November 17 – Meet and Greet Evening
  Get ready to be amazed! At our November 17th meeting, we’ll get to better know
  new members and old when we play a version of two truths and a lie. In
  preparation, think of two true statements about your fibre arts practice and one
  that isn’t. We’ll take turns talking in pairs and your partner will guess which
  statement is not really you. There are bound to be surprises and laughs as we
  learn more about each other.
• Monday, December 8 – Secret Santa – Bring a secret little something, wrapped intriguingly — and take one home! Gifts
  They can be handmade, recycled, thrifted, frivolous, or useful. We’ll exchange on
  December 8th at the social.

Workshops

Fibre art workshops are hosted once or twice a year from a variety of talented artists from across Canada and internationally.

Playdates are led by members for members, to learn, share, encourage and get inspired. Look for a notice of our next one, expected to be in the Fall.
